Appropriately situated in the Sea Captains’ Town, the first Community Solar Garden® Project is holding a ribbon cutting event – Wednesday, October 10th, 5:00pm at the Brewster Water Department (adjacent to the Community Solar Garden) 165 Commerce Park Road, Brewster Massachusetts.

Much hard work, planning, and preparation went into the development of this remarkable project which is meant to be a step towards sustainable energy independence and environmental stewardship for the members of the Brewster Community Solar Garden Cooperative.  A true cause for celebration; The Brewster Community Solar Garden project has been operating for over 6 months, and has consistently outpaced its projected power production.

The public is invited to celebrate this pioneering achievement.  Meet members of the Brewster Community Solar Garden Cooperative, as well as key personnel of My Generation Energy, Inc. which erected the array.  Come and see the 1,440 solar modules that line the terraced hill side; supplying enough solar electricity to power over 50 homes in Brewster.
